Home Power is very similar to Dragon Power, if you collect enough you will unlock more rooms.

Home Power is seen on the Beacon (global Mood Point counter), and inside the Dragon Homes. Each active room has its own Home Power counter and the amount of Home Power of each object will be seen when the sub-menu of the object is opened up (where you can see the object's name, level, etc.)
