There are 2 ways you can collect more Dust bunnies:

1) Purchasing them with gems from the Kala shop and,
2) By opening crates and tapping specific furniture. If the furniture has a tiny Dust Bunny next to it, it will mean it can be tapped for dust. The higher the level of the furniture, the more dust bunnies you will get.
